Wrote a poem to celebrate the upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival...
First, the Chinese version:
月娥俪影洒南湾,新友笑颜溢学堂
望尽天涯求索路,醉邀明月伴君行
Then, the English version:
Angel Moon Graces South Bay, Friend's Smile Fills Study Room
On the Horizon Lies My Way, Come With Me Fly To the Moon
| Thanks Julio Iglesias for the beautiful song La Mer, last heard in the amazing British film <Tinker Soldier Tailor Spy>
On the beautiful night of Sep 28, six-city-spin tried out her calligraphy:

This poem is not one of my best, and this calligraphy is not six-city-spin's best effort either, but together they were a nice tribute on this special occasion.
then, after a joyful Facetime session with both my parents and in-laws in Shanghai, my parents responded with this much, much better poem:
喜逢海上明月夜,两家父母共思亲
遥望彼岸奇快闪,双双求索再创新
